Nightmare :-)

I was faced with a "nightmare" scenario...

This charmer of a gorilla got real close to the glass
and was periodically sticking the tongue out for a few
seconds at a time. People started gather around the beast
and I found myself with my Canon 7 and 50mm f/0.95 dream
lens as the only tool to capture the moment. The light was
low inside, bright outside. The rangefinder on the camera
was off, the meter dead. I was shuffling for position for
a decent shot.

I had my trusty DSLR buried deep in the bag and I was afraid that
if I took it out, set it up, etc, the moment might've been gone.

I actually knocked myself on the head and said "Damn!"
But when I got the negatives back, I was surprised to
get a decent, usable shot. Actually, all three shots
were sharp. It was at that moment that I realized that
with the "Dream Lens," all your dreams are possible :-)
