Operation Brightside is a program funded by several St Louis corporations, and it's been beautifying and cleaning up St Louis for 25 years. During that time, in addition to various neighborhood cleanup and landscaping projects (largely in old neighborhoods that are being renovated), it has planted something like 12 million daffodils, mostly along the sides of interstate highways.
