Gildersleeve Log's 'A-Frame Dump'

Whale Pass, Alaska

Across the bay from the Whale Pass camp was the A-Frame log dump and sorting area. Several items of note in this picture are the
brand-new Manitowoc shovel, the fuel-tanks with gravity feed hoses, and the crashed floatplane (in pieces ahead of the log deck).

When these pictures were taken in 1975, Roger Gidersleeve was running 5 yarder sides in the Whale Pass area.
