One of my favorite incongruous images on pbase, Rulon -- it works on three different levels as satire. We don't expect to see the president of your country standing in the rain without even noticing it; the kid reaches for a handshake but none is forthcomng from Putin; and your camera has turned the woman to his left into just as
rigid a mannequin. As a black and white image, it almost looks like journalism. Actually, it's political satire.
