I know that feeling especially here in Germany, the most common one is Duck Jung..:>

LOL! @ JHR . . .I will have to try that . . . it might save me a few peculiar looks when I say "Pete"
Gayle P. Clement10-Jul-2007 01:46
Sigh... You should see what they do with "Gayle".
Bryan Ramsay09-Jul-2007 14:35
If I had a dollar for everytime mine was spelled with an "i".... ;o), Ill bet the coffee tasted a little different too ;o) Nicely shot! -BJ

LOL at Petesie's comment! Keep on the sunny side of life.

You want to see what they do with my first name..
Extra letters, or the wrong vowel. But I can at least understand the confusion with mine.
Gary Winters09-Jul-2007 06:13
That's the first thing I noticed with the thumb!
snootydog09-Jul-2007 02:27

I get Don, Dan, even a duhn once.. (doh!) Could use one of those right about now tho!
John Buffin08-Jul-2007 22:55
It happens. For some reason, every once in a while, someone will ask if my name is spelled J-h-o-n. NEVER seen it spelled that way. J-o-n maybe.

Mmmm...donuts. =)

I'm totally anonymous in a coffee shop - just as well!
Cindi Smith08-Jul-2007 22:42
That's one of my best friend's names and she's a she. Don't worry, you don't look like a girl.
petesie08-Jul-2007 22:29
By the way, I don't think the OJ cancels out the donut!
petesie08-Jul-2007 22:27
I always say "Pete"....otherwise I'd get pizza, or peaches, or Peteetsie or who knows. You don't look like a girl, Robin. Wonder how they would have spelled quail?
Coleen Perilloux Landry08-Jul-2007 21:55
Shame on them. I like the oj glass.
Jen Bixler08-Jul-2007 21:17
I am glad to see that you added the OJ for something healthy!

I bet when she yelled out the 13 word order it was right though:
A VENTI NON-FAT CARAMEL LATTE W/HALF THE PUMPS AND NO WHIP
laine8208-Jul-2007 20:44
Ahhhh, they turned you into a girl !!!

Guest 08-Jul-2007 18:20
I go with "Sergio". gives it a mafia don't mess with my drink feel :-)
Guest 08-Jul-2007 17:58
LOL!

They can't EVER get Jeanne right, so I have just said Kelly for years now...

The guy thinks me real name is Kelly now!
