Yesterday I reported that my Digital Photography Teacher (see here) seemed unfocused and was a poor teacher. I sent him yesterday’s PESO and a note with my complaints and compliments, and then talked with him today before class.
At any rate, he was MUCH better today and I learned several new things; among them the fact that marking on a CD (to label it) causes degradation, and that Lexar and SanDisk CF cards have a 35% failure rate (compared to what I ask?) He likes Delkin CF cards.
Our first assignment is to shoot back-lit, front-lit, and side-lit subjects; with long-view, middle-view, and near-view combinations.
I do expect to learn (and relearn) many things. Another one for me today is that I didn’t understand how to use my A-DEP feature on my Canon.
