December 26: A Double Whammy

Anne was my “date” for Christmas dinner at Warner Springs. Michele (below) was our hostess. “Mike” and I met at the City of San Diego in 1980. I met Anne in a Gestalt group in 1977. They are close friends and colleagues. The two of them together delight in giving me a little bit of loving grief. Its tough for guy to handle both of them at the same time. ;-)

Both of these women are bright, articulate, and witty. I thought they both looked quite lovely yesterday. I treasure each of them.

If you are wondering why I was using my 20D, well (blush) I forgot that the 5D doesn’t have a built in flash. It is a good thing I had the 20D with me also.

You're right, the 5D is called a "pro" camera and "Pro's" don't use pop up flashes. They use a bigger flash, typically off camera. One thing you could have done is shot them at a higher ISO, you will be amazed at the lack of noise at high ISO's with the 5D. I'd sell off the 5D. How can you stand a camera that Canon has obviously crippled just to sell a few flash units? Good shots!
