April 10: Connecting Friends and Colleagues

Rancho Bernardo Inn, SD, CA

Today at breakfast on the Rancho Bernardo Inn Veranda I “introduced” my friends Tom and Maggie to Peg, Byron, Dave and June. I turns out there several friends, previous contacts, and points of view common among us all. June knew Maggie from a prior experience many years a go, and Dave had met a Tom at a Colloquy on Leadership. June has read and loves Tom's book, The Heart of Coaching Amazing!

All of us are either consultants or therapists. All of us hold strong humanistic values and are motivated by helping people and organizations. And we are not shy about wanting to generate financial success for ourselves as we serve our clients.

Dave says that book, The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, would describe me as a “Connector.”

It was a terrific breakfast as we chatted about our common interests and varied life experiences. Wonderful people all.

This is so cool. I give you lots of credit for not only the relationships but connecting the dots. Nice series of personal photos, too.

Nice group of photos. It could almost be an ad for the energy and enthusiasm this group could bring to a meeting.

I've worked with several consultants on projects involving shortening cycle time, the time it takes to convert an idea into a product that can go down the assemble line and ultimatly be sold to a customer.
Some have been very good while others left a little to be desired.
I have a feeling you would be a good one.
Nice shots of your friends.

I like how you did this, looks just like a postcard.
You are all some positive energy folks it seems. Good for you, not enough of that going around these days.
