Bev and I spent the day west of Sydney in the Blue Mountains which divide most of the populated coast from the Outback on the far side. They are about 3500 feet high and represent a significant chance in climate and vegetation from the eastern coastal plain. This is the famous bush, and it would be easy to get lost in the thick vegetation.
Our tour was in an off road vehicle and we did spent a bit of time driving and walking down roads/trails not used by the typical tourist bus.
Tomorrow (Thursday) is our last full day in Sydney. I am ready to come home!
