December 19: Multi-Tasking

Here I am writing my Christmas letter (no rush, still 6 days left!), and watching my Chargers vie for a AFC playoff birth. (I only watch pro football when the SD is in contention, which is quite a rare event.)

Also I’m posting this image to show my good friend Ronne Jacobs in Richmond the canvas on the wall which is one my ** gliceed ** prints.

So, of course, I’m nailing my PaD early … always a nice feeling. How do you like my treatment of b&w with just the touch of color. Or again, would folks prefer all b&w?

Addendum: For those of you commenting on my less than smiling visage, I' looking at my remote self-timer tyring to figure out why it is NOT working the way I thought it would.

Regarding shirt sleeves...it is quite WARM here today.

Tough call. I'm thinking all color, but that might be too distracting. The color print does draw the eye to it and that's what you may have wanted, at least for the folks in Richmond. I make faces at my remote and timer, too. Angrier faces than this one. :)

this is great Robin... but yes, I would prefer full BW to this even though this isn't bad at all.

I like this selective, because you show us how important is for you that print at the wall. It is a great mood, and, as someone in the coments said, a nice smile on your face would be great.

Looks good to me. That print on the back wall sure looks nice from here! I'm hurrying, myself...I've been procrastinating packing for my trip to Iowa tomorrow to spend Christmas with my grandparents.

Well, let's see. I would have preferred all color. You look too pale. As for the absent-minded or concentration look, that works for me. After all, you're supposed to be thinking about something you're going to put on the computer. As for the Christmas letter, will it have pictures in it this year? Shouldn't it, given your photographic skills?

I like the almost-candid look of this, Robin. I think the color in the back depends on your message. If this is for art's sake, probably not. If it's for a friend and to accentuate something-good job.

This is a nice SP because the position gives the viewer the feeling of being right there in the room. For my taste, while the colour picture accentuates the print behind, I find it distracting to the overall image. And I agree with LC - we'd prefer a jollier Robin :o)

Where's that Robin smile... must be the pressure of a holiday letter. :). That's a beautiful picture behind you... leaving it in color really highlights it well.
