May 11: 17th Street Beach

Del Mar Beach, CA

If you ever get out to San Diego, try the 17th Street beach at Del Mar. It is broad and flat and has good, but not overpowering waves. For cold drinks and big hamburgers the newly remodeled Poseidon Restaurant which sports a wonderful outdoor eating area faces this scene. And a walk North or South along this beach is replete with fascinating women, athletic men, cool surfer dudes, and all kinds of sea life.

Wait, go back. No, before the cool surfer dudes. No not the hamburgers, that's too far. Yeah, the interesting woman! That's it! And we get a picture of a boat?! :)- Just kidding Robin! Love the orange against the blue water/sky!
