I had dinner tonight at Jake's on Del Mar Beach with former colleague and friend Steve Colladay who was in town. We were Deans together at Cornell College back in the 1970's.

On the way out I spied this wondeful sculpure of a sailboat (we have those things here in San Diego).

I hurried home and uploaded it to replace a shot I really didn't like. All the black was added using Photoshop to create the contrast and to eliminate glare from a window that was behind it.

This little Penatax Optio isn't that great in low light because it kicks up to 400 ISO and the graininess begins to show.
