Winching in the jib

I often times chain myself to creating a new photo (or redoing one posted earlier) for PaD (which I believe is the implied or explicit rule, however I have tons of great older photos that deserve to reworked and posted. Most of them have ever seen the light of day.

This is an example: this shot was taken in Auckland, NZ in 2005. It didn’t make daylight, because I had a “better” shot taken on the boat . See below

I love the tones on this. A good example of the zone system. I'll bet this is fantastic when printed.

super detail on those maritime hands there Robin. Out of interest I looked back to see what I was doing on 24 February 2005. My photo was called Octopus, so there is a kind of association... Remember the World Wide Wig? <http://www.pbase.com/clickaway/image/40128289

What a coincidence: I was in Auckland on the 27 and 28 of February of that year before going to the South Islads, where I was for two glorious weeks
