They hang around the pool here in Palmira Colombia. Catch any unfortunate insect that falls in the water for a easy snack. Locally they call them “Pichojue”

@Steve - possibly something like this - Lesser Kiskadee?

I have a pair these visiting the pond in our garden, they seem to be trying to catch our small goldfish. Is this probable? I live in Santa Catarina Brasil.

I have several of this bird in my garden in Cali. In spanish they call them "pecho amarillo", because of it's yellow chest. They eat insects, but also small lizards and the bigger one's even might eat little birds from other species. They are quite agressive when it comes to defend territory or nutrition.
