February 23, 2008

Two flats in one month! Both flats were caused by dry-rotted valve stems… My tires are less than a year old. Obviously the tire dealer I brought my tires from was not scrupulous enough to replace the valve stems at the time of purchase. Buyers beware, if you do business with Flagler County Chrysler.

I now have new valve stems in all of my tires.

As cheap as they are valve stems should always be replaced when tires are installed.

That's got to be pretty irritating - it seems like you have to spend half your time these days doing other peoples' jobs for them (or making sure they do them right).

That's pure negligence Dave, in fact it could be criminal negligence if you had had an accident.
