Jill captured me talking with John, the operator of the Monroe County Pumpout Boat.
John is a sailor who lives aboard his own sailboat.
He and his wife were sailing to South America from New England.
When they reached Key Largo they found out she was pregnant.
A lovely baby girl was born to them a month ago.
John decided he needed a job that had health insurance benefits.
So he started operating Monroe County's pumpout boat.
John and family plan to continue their trip in a year or two, after the baby can get around on their boat on her own.
