It seems that I have been taking a lot of shots of the moon lately.

I was particularly impressed with this shot. The moon was directly overhead. I was hand-holding the camera at full-digital zoom. Since I was holding the camera above my head I could not find a way to brace my arms for stability. As I tried to sight-it-in, the image of the moon it was quite jittery. I held my breath and hit the shutter release.

I am amazed that I got a reasonable result.

it's better than reasonable . . when I do something like that it's intensely obvious that no tripod was in use =\
