Known as the "Heilanman's Umbrella" since 'travellers' from the highlands would once come to Glasgow looking for work and shelter from the rain under here. Truly an awful place. If you decide to venture under this bridge you will come across a few people sitting on the street with a sign saying something along the lines of "Homeless and Hungry...". There's no serious aggressive begging going on here but it's still a nasty place to be, if only because of the urine smell.

Did you know that that is called the Heilanman's Umbrella - and do you know why?
