Stratford-Upon-Avon: 2-4 October 2004

Stratford-upon-Avon is situated in the heart of the English midlands. A market town dating back to medieval times, Stratford is most famous as the birthplace of the Elizabethan playwright William Shakespeare. We visited Shakespeare's birthplace, the home of his wife Anne Hathaway, and the family farm of his mother Mary Arden - where there was a Harvest Fair taking place.
