Time for a little bit more 'oomph', although the Bora was a splendid car. This 1996 BMW drives even better. Wonderful M50 2494cm3 straight-six with 170BHP. Climate control, sunroof, 5-speed automatic, M-suspension 'ab Werk', and more... Making this an expensive car in its youth (42,000 Euro with options included). The ride is very smooth. 2200rpm when going 140km/h instead of 4000rpm in the Bora, that makes a difference. This could be a future classic. Unspoiled and presented to me like it was presented to the first owner in August 1996.
