In August 2011, my brother purchased an unique Peugeot 604SL. Original Dutch example, delivered in 1976 and in a very good and rustfree condition. The 604 is hardly seen anymore, because the cars were very good in rusting. The 2.7 V6 Douvrin engine is, with proper maintenance, reliable. Fuel consumption is high, as is the comfort 'en route' in the spacious, soft seats.
