Hard to believe now, but in 1991 the Lim-6 (MiG-17) still played an important role within the Polish air force. 45LPSz-B at Babimost used over 20 Lim-6bis's and SBLim-2M's in active service, not far from the East German border. Lim-6bis 432 (c/n 1J-0432) is parked outside it HAS to please the photographer. In 1992, this Lim was seen for the last time at the Mierzecice storage facility. Its fate is unknown.
