MiG-21's taxy fast! Here, the slightly weathered MiG-21MF 664 (c/n 5403, delivered to LSK/LV in May 1972) of JG1 is seen on the last flying day of the regiment at Holzdorf, East German Republic. There was no place for any MiG-21 in the new and unified Luftwaffe. This MiG-21 was, like so many others, scrapped a few years later. Total number of flying hours: 1,347. Also, almost all of the pilots and crews of the unit lost their jobs
