Livingston's Turaco

Jurong Birdpark, Singapore

Scientific name: Tauraco livingstonii (Gray, G. R., 1864). livingstonii = after David Livingstone (1813-1873), Scottish doctor, missionary and explorer.

Distribution: From Tanzania south to Malawi and n Mozambique. In South Africa, highlands of east Zimbabwe and adjacent south Mozambique, and south to about
St Lucia, KwaZulu-Natal.
