Pink Cockatoos are birds of the semi-arid and arid zones of all parts of Australia, except Tasmania. Major Mitchell’s Cockatoos feed
on seeds, fruits, nuts and tubers from a variety of native plants, especially Acacia (wattle) and Callitris species.
