Scientific name: Aceros comatus (Raffles, 1822).
The white-crested hornbill can be found in Northeastern India, coastal Burma, Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo. It is a local bird of hill forests
in the northern two thirds of Sumatra and northern half of Borneo. It dwells in the middle and lower forest storeys. They eat fruit and insects and
have harsh, penetrating calls. They are long-tailed, with a black and white bill and a distinctive fuzzy white crown.
