Vanda + Arachnis Hybrids: Some fine, free-flowering hybrids have been produced by crossing Vandas with the Scorpion Orchids and have become
known by the name Aranda.
This orchid is a primary hybrid originated in the early 1940s. Parentage is Arachnis hookeriana X Vanda tricolor var. suavis.
