My backseat view from Ross Granley's Yak18.Here he is giving myself and Wetaskiwin Mayor Don Montgomery last minute flight instructions prior to our flight with him.Ross showed us our airsick bags and said if we filled those up then please put the rest inside our shirts.....LOL.We then got buckled in tight to our 5 point harnesses and away we went.Don is a casual pilot himself and had no trouble with the loops,dives and banks we went through as Ross showed us some of his maneuvers while I hung on for dear life screaming "I don't wanna dieeeeeee"......naaaa....I soldiered it out but sure did feel a bit of G force for the first time as the blood rushed to my head.
Ross(on the left) is a former Snowbird and currently flies for United Airlines out of SF so I was in very capable hands.Really nice fellow!
