It's a common Brown Water Snake. Not a real big one but I was zoomed in from about 8' away.

Very nice; but I dunno what kind he is. The eyes tell me he is non-venomous, but those thick scales have me clueless! I love this marshy area; never seen so much duck weed in my life!
