A clear sky for the first time in ages, and the pier gets a telescope for the first time (yes, I know it's pointing down - it's cooling down ready for my pier's maiden observing session tonight.
It was a good session - Jupiter was beautiful, and also looked at M42, M15, Uranus, Castor's double star, and other old favourites. Mainly it was a session to get familiar with the scope's controls again, particularly alignment.
