Once a year in February or March, a group of beautiful American white pelicans make their visit to SW Florida where they feed on shallow-water fishes and crustaceans from pond to pond, and marsh to marsh. They never stay in the same place more than a few hours, or, if lucky, a day.
Photographers go when the word is out, but many miss the chance. Well, there is always next year!!!
