Resplendent in the recently adopted BNSF livery, new ES44DC #7766 (builder #55826) passes the location of the long ago razed Frisco station.
My earliest recollection of railroading happened here. On an evening in the late 1940's, as my father purchased tractor fuel at Swartz Oil Company, my mother took me and my little sister next door to see a steam locomotive stopped at the station. Imagine the excitement of a small boy as he watched the fireman inspect the engine.
