I returned to the world of digital photography in 2000 with this Sony DSC-S70. The S70 features an excellent Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar 7-21mm (35mm equivalent of 34-102mm), f/2.0-2.5 lens and a 3.14 effective megapixel CCD sensor. The drawback of this camera is its slow start-up and focusing time, as well as lag-time between exposures. At the time of its sale, if you were in a hurry, you were better off using a film camera. Otherwise it was a very good camera capable of producing excellent photographs with a maximum resolution of 2048x1536.
