Six English or House Sparrows (Passer domesticus) sitting on Holly branches. In 1850, six of the species were imported to United States and set free in New York City's Central Park. Because of its aggressive, invasive nature, House Sparrows could be found throughout most of North America within 60 years of its introduction. It's not really a Sparrow, but a member of the Weaver Finch family.
