I have a wood chipper and import truckloads of extra wood chips for the gardens. As a result these snails proliferate and make up the main food source for my Koi. I blend them whole and strain out the shells as the main ingredient in a paste formula. In spite of their reputation, snails are surprisingly fast creatures when trying to capture them from this distance.
