The bluebirds are now about 7 days old. Their eyes are starting to open a bit and their feathers are just starting to break through their sheaths. Meanwhile, at the chickadee boxes, in one box they were in the process of hatching when I came around (below) and in the other box they were all hatched and only a couple hours old (I can't get any photos from the inside of that box because of the way it opens). At one box, the chickadee owner poked its head out of the entrance to see what was coming as I approached.
