Common Goldeneyes

This is the best I have been able do with these guys. They are always far out in the river, too far for my lens to catch anything but group shots, which rarely turn out well, but I liked this one because I thought their heads were all pointed in a nice way, and one male was caught in the midst of his head bobbing display.

I like this! One does not always have to get super close-ups for an effective and interesting photo, as this shot shows.
