Two of my backyard chipmunks somehow learned that peanuts, sunflower seeds, and other goodies are stored inside by my back door because one day the chipmunks started climbing up and down the screen door looking for a way in. I have a habit of going outside and leaving the back door wide open, as the presence of the occasional wasp indoors will attest to, and I figure one day a chipmunk went in when I wasn't looking and found the motherload. Now whenever the back door opens up they come running right up to the door, right on inside, and help themselves to the goodies. Whenever I am sitting by the back door reading a magazine or whatever and I see one of the two chipmunks around I'll open up the door and let them come in and help themselves to the motherload. They usually only make two trips before they disappear, but sometimes they will keep coming back until I close the door.
