Flotsam

Nr Okehampton, Devon

Tuesday 5th December
Day 717

Some of the debris washed down a nearby hill during the weekend storms! I suspect this has gone missing from a nearby allotment.

Update: 6/12/06
Done with a sepia layer reducing the opacity so that the colours show through. Here is a B&W version, which is oddly how I was originally visualising it!

lol, looks like my garden at the moment, full of builders rubble and wheelbarrows!!

Lovely rustic shot, hope it's soon returned to its rightful owner!

Very nice texture and detail... great job on the slow shutter for the water. Wonder how this might also look in B&W. Bravo!
Bill Ewart Jr05-Dec-2006 19:25
Would make a nice b/w don't you think?

It's ready to scoop up the remaining autumn leaves.
Love the rustic feel.

do you know, we have two just like that in our garden! Strangely I'd normally balk at rubbish in a stream, I don't know if it's your processing or the fact that the wheelbarrow is an out-door thing but it looks good!

rather big flotsam, but well spotted and well captured
