Oriel Window, Lacock Abbey

Lacock, Wiltshire

Saturday 10th June 2006
Day 539

Nothing spectacular today, but a pilgrimage to where it all began - debatebly! In 1835, William Henry Fox Talbot took an image of this window, in his country house, which is the earliest surviving paper negative. I wonder if this electronic file will be around in 171 years...

Many more images to process but it has been hot today and I need beer!
