Cracked Arch

Exeter, Devon
Monday 23rd January 2006
Day 401

Today, once more, is the "Most Depressing Day of the Year" © It has certainly been very dark all day, under the duty grey blanket, but I actually quite positive, in my usual contrary way!

It is apparently the support structure for an old water tower for a long since closed hospital.

This building has featured before, but does deserve another visit - maybe another one this week as well!

Love the focus, Lee. If only pbase would speed up a bit...it will be time to start another round of comments before I complete those I'm trying to catch up to now !!!

Much for the eye to behold.

Nice use of the arches and angles Lee.

I love brick. Would it be sturdy enough to stand someone against for a photo?

I agree - beautifully framed. I like the focus on the center arch with the crumbled brick and the others slightly blurred. Just a cool all around shot, Lee.

I really like the way you've framed the arches; lots of character (and stories) in those walls.
