Following the Abbotsford International Airshow, Fred and I decided to head down to Steveston Harbour
to catch the evening light and then a yummy, very fresh seafood dinner. The evening light didn't
disappoint us (nor did the dinner!) One of the 'regulars' who berths his boat on the local pier gave
us permission to explore the docks which are normally off limits to the general public. This is an
image of the bow of the Norking--a rugged and well used fishing boat--which was tied up at the end of
the dock. I liked how the warm, last light lit up the weathered wood and the distant boats already
moored for the night.
Image was leveled, minor adjustments made in PSCS2 to recreate the scene as I best remembered it. I
then resized and sharpened it for the web.
Comments and feedback always appreciated.
