Black and White (Jerusalem, 2006)

In 2006, Toldot Yeshurun organization held an evening in memory of Rabbi Yitzhak Zilber at the Binyaney a-Uma Convention center in Jerusalem. Several thousand Russian-speaking Jews in black frock-coats filled the room. Gedoley a-Dor (Leaders of the Generation) gave speeches, encouraging them to learn Torah. The photograph shows Rabbi Moshe Petrover and Rabbi Yigal Polischuk (left to right). It's interesting that I mistook Rabbi Polishchuk for Rabbi Joseph Mendelevich.
