This is a sequence of photos that highlight my favorite dance in the Nutcracker called "Arabian". They were shot after the matinee performance on December 10, 2005. I set up my tripod and camera about 12 rows back and dead center. They cranked up the lights and played the music. The only people in the Hall were the 2 dancers, the artistic Director, the sound and light people in the control room...and me. I used my 70-200 f2.8 on my Canon 5D at 1250 ISO in Al Servo focus mode. They performed the dance ONCE and I got these shots. I consider myself a lucky man to have the opportunity to shoot this very talented couple!
