Hi Ray, This is a juvenile Molothrus a. ater. Tell Kevin that the "fleshy flanges" he cites are common features of fledgeling and juvenile Passeriformes. It is normally called the "juvenile gape", and it does not speak to the species, but rather to the age of the bird.

Hi Ray. This bird looks like a juvenile Indigo Bunting to me. Note the fleshy "flanges" at the base of the bill. Kevin McLaughlin
