Swamp Wallaby - Series

This is the first time we have been so close to a Swamp Wallaby in its natural habitat.
We went for a short drive from Inverloch to Bald Hills Wetlands reserve hoping to photograph some water birds, unfortunately without success.
On the one kilometer walk through open woodlands and Paperbark thickets we came across this gorgeous Swamp Wallaby amongst the Bracken Ferns. It was such a thrill to be able to see one so close making the trip a great success.
