Ah, winter in Seville! Today was a perfect day for a picnic; long green grass after plentiful Autumn rains, not a cloud in the sky and a gentle breeze. This picnic would have been impossibly HOT during the summer here.

I love the way my lovely family are lost in the grass in this image and it works particularly well with everyone, including Max the dog, looking a Oscar and Oscar looking at us, the viewers.

Before I posted this image I was thinking to myself that it reminded me of a photo by Henri Cartier-Bresson (the photographer that I have most drawn inspiration from over the years) but before I got to write this, lo and behold, Tristesso posts a comment saying the same! I feel I have been paid the highest possible compliment! Thankyou Tristesso.
