i remember st.toenis very well.couse i was born there in 1938.i use to live an der ecke,hoch und schul strasse.i think it was hochstrasse 76.infackt . we bought it of a judisch famili.thy were living in the anrater strasse. i remember.going with my dad making payments after the last payment. the left over nazi burocrads,and a wellty farmer...( no name)cam and kickt use out. saying the former owner hat no right to sell this place to(.becouse hi was a ju)thy have taket all the documents ,and paymet slips.and never return them.allways teling my dad. the documents have been lost, and trying to find them,,( witch thy never did_)so i have no pruff.i left st.toenis. the age of 16ten. and went to switzerlang.for weil. and later in the south of germany on till the of 22. for australia ,i never wanted to return to my home town. but i did in 1988. return there for a couple of hrs.so like to thank for the display of the alt photos. yours is the best of them all.and wisch you and your familly the very bes. and keep up the gute work. best reg heinz peuten
