Distant record shot of birds coming in to roost on high trees in the Nariva swamp (the prominent white eyering -a distinguishing feature from the other Trinidad Amazona parrot is easily seen -even at a distance).
This species is very rare on Trinidad & it has been suggested that those present are released captive birds. However, Nariva swamp seems to have a population of wild birds which are very difficult to approach!
