This lone male was drifting through the central Mara plain. We positioned our vehicle ahead of him near a termite mound on top of a low ridge. Fortune was with us as he approached closely then sat up on the termite mound to survey the grassland below.
It was a real pleasure to spend some time in the company of this elegant cat.
